A Seve Moment at Morgan

This was from a time when I didn’t have the framework — it wasn’t developed yet.
It’s hard to have confidence without one.
My trail side isn’t allocated.
The intention is correct, so is the equipment.
The mechanics — a bit flawed. I get lucky.
Hole 1 at Morgan.
I hook a 3-wood off the tee.
I could punch out, then play a wedge… but that would cost a stroke.
The other option — go for the green.
125 yards to the pin.
It has to come in low and sit.
Probably not possible —
unless I hit the bank first.
At The Park of Dreams, I’ve demonstrated what to consider.
We know the follow-through has to stay short.
A 7-iron will work — you can dig a bit and keep it down.
Come up short, and it’s in the water.
So prime the trail side for a quick tempo — we need speed.
Since we’re digging, a long backswing is riskier.
For those new to The League, this is a Seve Ballesteros shot —
the kind where you see the risk, void the doubt, and pull it off.
